Intaleaf Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery Statement (UK)

Nompharma Ltd (trading as “Intaleaf”)

Approved: 1 October 2025

This statement is made under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (if applicable) and sets out the steps we have taken, and will take, to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

1) Our business and structure

Intaleaf is the wholesale importer, exporter and distributor of medical-grade cannabis (CBPMs) and related products for licensed organisations. We operate in the UK and source from approved suppliers in jurisdictions that may include the UK, EU, Canada, the United States and Thailand. Intaleaf is the trading style of Nompharma Ltd (Company No. 11764276).

2) Our approach

We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour, servitude, child labour or human trafficking. We are committed to responsible sourcing, fair employment practices, and compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.

3) Policies & governance

  • Modern Slavery Policy (this statement).
  • Supplier Code of Conduct (incorporated by reference in our contracts).
  • Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy and Whistleblowing channel (compliance@intaleaf.com).
  • Due Diligence in onboarding (licences, GMP/GACP, ownership checks, AML/sanctions, adverse media).
  • Right to audit suppliers, and contractual termination for breaches (mirrors our T&Cs).

4) Risk assessment

  • Country risk (labour standards, enforcement, trafficking prevalence).
  • Sector risk (agriculture/processing vs. finished pharmaceutical goods).
  • Supplier practices (GMP/GACP certification, recruitment policies, use of labour intermediaries).
  • Transport/logistics chains for international shipments.

5) Supplier due diligence & controls

  • Pre-contract checks: corporate and licence verification, GMP/GACP, CoAs, insurance, Director/UBO identification, sanctions/AML screening.
  • Contractual standards: modern slavery clauses, audit/inspection rights, corrective action plans, and immediate termination for serious breaches.
  • Ongoing monitoring: document renewals, adverse-media checks, investigation of credible allegations, cooperative remediation where appropriate.

6) Training and awareness

Relevant staff (procurement, quality, compliance, operations) receive periodic training on indicators of forced labour; escalation and reporting; and how to engage suppliers on remediation.

7) Reporting concerns

We encourage anyone (staff, suppliers, stakeholders) to report concerns to compliance@intaleaf.com. Reports are assessed promptly and sensitively; we prohibit retaliation.

8) KPIs & effectiveness

  • % of suppliers onboarded with full due diligence completed.
  • % of suppliers contracted on our modern slavery clauses.
  • Number and outcome of investigations; corrective actions tracked to closure.
  • Staff training completion rates.

9) Approval
